MATCHBOX Rocky the Robot Truck – Deluxe Rocky
Built with strong, durable plastic, Rocky is ready to handle heavy loads. Your child can manually tilt his dump bed to unload it — or make some noise and he’ll do it for you. And when you push Rocky forward or pull him backward on all six wheels, his blue headlights are activated and he’ll make some noise of his own, with engine sounds and honking.
The smokestack on the front of the truck is the primary way to control this robot truck. Tilting the lever back gets Rocky to stand on his back four wheels. The truck is automatically set in dump mode, but pressing the red button on top of the smokestack several times will switch it to dancing mode, where he’ll shake his upper truck body to music. Pushing the lever forward returns Rocky to a normal truck position.
The red button also cues Rocky to say one of his many phrases or jokes, and also wakes him up if he’s taking a nap. If you don’t play with Rocky for a while, he will go into sleep mode — a may even snore. Kids get Rocky’s attention by placing objects in his dump bed, or by pushing or pulling him.
